additionally #1pb does nt offer the ammenities that EMR does--I don't recall seeing a foosball table at either the grant rd or the quinn rd parks; nor do i want to see them there--i go to pool halls and bars for that sort of thing--i come to the paintball field to play paintball not pool or darts or whatever.

Oh well, they now have a byop fee that's 5 bucks, which pushes the admission for those of us who want to use our own paint back to the original 26 dollars...which is fine with me. Now I only have one suggestion - It says that the paint must meet the managers "standards" I think it will cut out a lot of confusion (especially for newer players) if you just post a list of paints that you allow, or don't allow, whichever is shorter.

This is good. They will have to figure some way to check the paint--spot checking hoppers and pods will keep folks honest for the most part.

I applaud the attention to this issue that has been given by both my fellow posters and the good folks at #1PB. I can assure you I will never bring a paint that is on the forbidden list--unless it's purely by accident because it was just added since I played last.

On a side note I like what you all did with the passes too. That initial lay out for the full season pass was a bear but I quickly run the numbers and see that as long as I play at least once a month I break even with the pass. Thanks guys I really appreaciate this too. It works for me and I look forward to buyng my next season pass or what ever you want to call it....

So we can still bring in paint from off-site and pay the fee, but it has to be these certain brands, correct?

Church, it appears as if that is the case.  You can bring in your own paint for your own equipment use.  It has to be on the approved list.

That's how I read the rates page and the FAQ's anyway.  I've yet to see anything official from #1 Paintball in regards to this though further than the fine print on the rates page.

I was out at the Grant Road location on Saturday and sure enough they are charging the $5.00 BYOP fee.  Hopefully that works out for those who prefer to buy their paint elsewhere.
