To all those who have registered for this game I am sad to say that due to situations beyond our control we have to cancel this upcoming game.
As of this morning I have 44 regisrations for the game. I cannot hold a game where there will be 20 on 20 in a 40 acre field. It would not be the type game any of us would have a good time playing or producing. I will being issuing refunds to those who registered via paypal today. To those who paid at the parks it's going to take me a day or so to sort through them and get refunds on the way to you.
I believe that the low numbers are due to a lot of reasons, some of them due to us scheduling an event at the start of summer break for schools and some due to us scheduling an event in the hotter part of the year. I know there are players who just stop playing once the temperature raises about 85 and I fully respect that.
The next game we will host will be in October. We may move this game theme to that date or we may come out with a totally new game.
I apologize to those who have made plans for this game already and will do my best to make it up to you at the October game.
If you registered at the parks please drop me an email at rick@1pb.com and let me know how you'd like me to processs your refund. I can issue a check to you as long as I have a vaild address to send it to, I can issue a gift card that you can use at our parks, or I can refund it to your credit card if you paid that way. The only problem with the credit card refund is we do not store your credit card information so I'd have to make personal contact with you to get the information in order to process the refund that way.
